- I need a telnet program.
-
- I've tried QVT, but it will not work with my laptop. QVT forces NUM_LOCK
- on, and that causes the keyboard to not work as needed. (There isn't a
- separate numeric keypad. With numlock on, the j, i, k, etc., characters
- cannot be used because they generate numbers.)
-
- telw crashes and burns with a Windows exception.
-
- Are there any other free/shareware telnet programs that will work with
- Trumpet winsock?

- I'm afraid you are out of luck.
- WLIBSOCK.DLL is Novell's proprietory sockets API for Windows.
- If XFTERM expects to use that then it will not work with a WINSOCK.DLL.
- You'll need to get a Winsock version of XFTERM, or if you have the source
- you could probably modify it to use Winsock without too much trouble.
